Quality planning process in supplier management using the best practices example of ZF Friedrichshafen AG - worldwide and standardized.
At the DSAG Annual Congress 2022 in Leipzig, Johannes Weinmann, process expert and project manager at the ZF Friedrichshafen AG, together with Christian Becker, CLC Managing Director and head of the CLC project team, the introduction of the eAPQP application at ZF Friedrichshafen AG. "The project, which was launched in 2020, aims to standardize the planning of the quality of purchased production materials and at the same time improve communication with suppliers," says Christian Becker.
The challenge here was to standardize a large number of different processes and different platforms worldwide. For this purpose, an existing collaboration platform was merged with an SAP interface. All employees in quality management, purchasing and supplier management at ZF now have the opportunity to use user-friendly SAP Fiori interfaces worldwide and to have an overview of relevant information and processes. Thus, with the project realization "eAPQP", a standard process valid throughout the Group was developed and digitalized.
